When do you run promos?

Curious when you run promotion for your business.

In one way, I see how promotions during slower times of the year can boost sales, however, I can also see how running promotions while it is busy can make for an even more positive spike in traffic.

Let me know your thoughts!

I can say, I'm usually not one to run promotions.  I rarely do/did before setting up marketing.  I do plan to actually run one this year next month actually to notify people of their yearly undercoating.  May-June aren't horribly slow by any means, but with running a promotion which will serve as a reminder to get people to come in earlier by offering a few bucks off.  I"m hoping that this will ease up on my work load come Fall time when i find myself working 6 days a week.
