Trigger Email Automation from Form Submission on Website

I'm trying to set up what should be a pretty straight forward email automation.

I'm opening a new store & I have a page on my website with an email subscription form (www.trythesweetspot.com/highland) [I use Square's native website builder]

I'd like to set up a custom automated email that get sent whenever someone fills out the form and subscribes for updates. 

Square's email marketing tool has pre-set automation audiences, but no ability to create a custom one like this as far as I can tell. I can export the email addresses and/or query for them to send one off emails but I want an automated one to go out every time someone signs up.

Is there any way to do this?

Hey @dylrich20.  As far as I know, unless I missed a recent memo, there is no way to automate this except using the method you described.  The only recommendation I can give you it so head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request for a new marketing automation.  If you decided to do that, please come back here and post a link to that request as I, for one, will be happy to upvote/like it and add my comments.

Any updates on this topic? I'd like to set email automation for new subscribers to our site. It's a great opportunity to have a series of emails welcoming them, telling our story and then asking them to make a purchase.
