Having issues with Sales Tax? I have never changed any of my settings but all the sudden, Square is not taxing my sales. I have rechecked everything and see nothing wrong. Anyone else having this issue?
typically when people have issues with sales taxes it is because the tax is set to "include tax in item price."
This is not the case. We checked and we have never used that option in 7 years.

Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I certainly want to look more into this. To confirm, you do have your sales tax setting enabled in the app right? Follow these steps below to confirm:
From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap More.
Tap Settings > Checkout > Taxes.
When did this start happening?
Not for sure when, be we noticed it on the last 2 orders in September.
Is this happening in-store or online?
Online
I think I see the issue here, but to be sure can you confirm an order number that we are not seeing the sales tax charged?
Yes taxes are on, in the app.
I'm having the same problem. Last month my square just stopped charging tax altogether. I did not change anything. Is there a software issue?
