How to delete messages in square messaging?

Is there any update on this? 

I have way too many Square Messages & theres no way to organize them like emails. 

How do we delete them?

Thank you for following up on this. This is currently not a feature with Square messages. I have moved this over to our Ideate Board, our new process of tracking feature requests. As soon as there is an update on this request we will make sure to update this thread. I know waiting for something to be built out is very hard so I appreciate you hanging in there! I have soooo many spam calls showing up in my messages how is there no way to delete or archive these so I can actually have an inbox of clients rather than spam missed calls?

Messages in square app is piling up. Was wondering if there was a way to delete old messages?

I agree! For me, the issue is numbers from non clients (spam, junk calls, etc) that I get on a daily basis. This clogs up my Messages and how I view them. If things worked like on my phone or email, I could delete the messages that don’t matter, leaving behind the ones that do.

My site has been live for 2 hours and I already have  5 spam messages. We need a better capcha and we need a way to delete messages so I don't have to wade through spam

Any updates on this very simple feature being rolled out? Been a few years now, absolutely wild to pay for a messaging service that lacks the most basic features like being able to delete a message.

More than 3 years since the initial request for a basic function? Having no way to delete irrelevant, spam or old messages is ridiculous.

My guess is they never intended to make changes under the current subscription  price of $10. If you’re not aware, they’re doing away with the $10 Messages subscription starting in September I believe. The only choice is to upgrade to the new Plan which starts at $40 per month and comes with a ton of extra stuff not needed if you’re solely using the messages feature. Very disappointing as this isn’t cost effective for my small business, and I will now be losing my phone number that is on all of my advertising.
