Promotions with Square Loyalty

LOVE that Loyalty has added promotions to the arsenal! Loyalty is one of the big reasons I moved to Square. 

Suggestion: In order for me to start utilizing this I would need to drill down to apply these multipliers to specific items or categories and not across the board.

Ahhh so happy you are loving the promotions! We love to hear that.

If you run a spend-based Square Loyalty program, you can now exclude certain items or categories so customers only earn points on the items you choose.

@MayaP I understand I can restrict certain items. My setup has my customers earning points on all purchases and I want to keep it that way. But if I'm running a promotion and adding multipliers to the points I would only want it applied to certain items/categories during the promotion. Make sense?

So for example, I could promote drinks during a promotion or have a promotion for a specific food item. Not have it applied to everything.

I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers’ interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
