How do you offer a reward point for a review?

We would like to offer a Loyalty Point to our customers to leave a Review. Can someone please explain how we can enable this feature?

Hi @PeachParty.  There is no way currently to automatically give a customer bonus points for leaving Square Feedback.  At this time, the only bonus points are those that can be earned when a loyalty customer adds their email address to their loyalty account.

 

A couple of options I can think of would be:

 

  1. In Square Messages you can press the + button and send them a coupon to redeem.
  2. From your dashboard, look them up in your customer directory, scroll down to the Loyalty Summary, click the “…” and select Adjust Points.  Add what you want to add and save it.

Otherwise, you might want to consider sending a feature request to the Loyalty Program folks.  You can do that here.
