How can I trust the email opened report

Every email I send when I open the report I see two addresses that opened the email.

 

Both addresses are mine, but I haven't opened an email in the last month, to see if this was real.

 

And yes it is, what does Square consider an email is opened? When you look at all your emails you got but do not click on any? To me opened is when I click on an email and open it.

 

I can no longer trust the Opened Report. Is this a bug or is this done on purpose to boost the opening rates?

When an email is marked as opened, it should be because it was actually clicked on, or marked as read. 

This definitely sounds like a bug, have you had a chance to reach out to our Support Team?

They would be able to determine if you are experiencing a bug and report it to engineers.
