Help with subscribing customers to text messages

We recently hosted an event where we collected prospective customer phone numbers and emails through an (external) online form. All customers consented to give their information. I imported these contacts to Square to use our marketing subscription and send text messages, but all of the customers are marked as "unsubscribed". How can I subscribe these customers to our text messages?

You can follow the steps in this article to import a list of subscribed customers.

 

Keep in mind, a subscribed customer is a customer that has provided explicit consent to receive marketing emails from your business, so unless you collected and recorded the customer’s explicit consent, we wouldn't recommend importing a list this way.
