Email Font Colors Removed?

I’m reaching out because I’m running into an issue with Square’s email campaign editor. In the past, I was able to change the font color to match my theme—I often used white text for a cleaner, branded look. However, as of today, I can’t seem to change the font color anymore. The only option available now is black.

I can still adjust the font size to Header 1 or Header 2, and I can change the font style itself, but the color option seems to have completely disappeared.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I’m missing, or did Square remove this customization option? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Came here to 2nd this problem - Spoke with an agent via Chat & they said the option is not available right now. It was available as recently as 2 weeks ago - Seems like a crazy thing to get rid of - Especially since I can change the color of the text on this message, but not the marketing platform we pay for lol!

How do you have a rep? I'm tired of paying for a service (8 years) and having my emails questions replied to in a generic cut and paste fashion and never any real help - no rep, no phone #.

yes, we pay for this email marketing feature and breaking it up with color makes it not look so long and boring.  Not happy about this Square!!

you all intentionally made a frustrating platform worse, why did you make this decision? What efficiency did it create for you? Do we get a discount?

Honestly, that is pretty funny.  Demanding that a Square community support person get the dev team to change something by a deadline of a few hours. At least you did say please.

1000% agree! Why was this option removed? It's a significant feature on any other email platform out there (such as MailChimp). This is a significant downgrade on Square's part!

It's September and still can only use black - I copied a previous template and still can't change it - so much for "marketing"! Absolutely absurd, I guess it's time to stop paying for the service!

To everyone following this thread.  Here is a link to a feature request that was submitted requesting this change.  I upvoted it and added comments, but figured others might want to do so as well.  I'm not a fan of preaching to Square or anyone, but I agree with the basic request so I can support it.  The more people who upvote it, and who add HELPFUL comments and not just general complaints, the better the chance that it will be scheduled to get corrected.
