Discount based on total sales

I would like to offer 10% discount on any sales over $50 from my Square online store at checkout.  However, I am being told by a Square support person that Square website does not have the capability of triggering a discount based on sales amount.  Is this true?

Hi Joh555,

You may have to experiment a little - check out this link - note the very last section titled "Minimum spend Requirement" - not sure if this is what you had in mind.  I have not tinkered with this feature so it may or may not do what you need.  Just something to check out.
