Select Cash App Pay as the form of payment.
A QR code will be displayed.
Your customer scans it with their phone.
The discount will be automatically applied.
We have tried numerous times using both our Square Register and Square Online store. The customer is not receiving a 10% discount. Can anyone advise?
I am also having this problem since yesterday. Sent the campaign email once and then again to only myself and same thing happened to us with no discounts being applied. Square support is no help and sends me to cash app support who then tells me the retailer is not participating in the boost program and doesn't even understand that I am trying to tell them that I am the retailer. They wanted me to email some third party to request bitcoin rewards cash boost or some garbage like that! Just a huge mess on all parts and terrible experience so far.
Late last night after doing like 6 test charges with no success it finally worked through our website when selecting cash app pay. The sale looked like no discount was applied on the square end and it looks like the customer will be charged the full amount but then after the payment is completed we got a cashapp notification saying 10% boost was auto applied. Checked the bank statement and the debit card was charged with the discount reflected. It sounds like a great offer but the way it is being handled is seriously a horrible layout and very confusing for the customers.
