Is there a way to have clients leave their reviews directly on Google instead of using Square’s internal review system? When potential clients search for my business on Google, they aren’t seeing the reviews posted through Square, which feels like a missed opportunity to build my Google presence and improve SEO. I’d really appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide.
In Square marketing you can link your business Google account so that the reviews can also be seen on google. You can then create an automation to send to your customers to leave you a review on Google. Hope this helps. Have a great day.
My Google account is already linked. Currently, the automation is set up to trigger a Google review request only after a customer either becomes a regular or leaves positive feedback through Square. This creates a delay in requesting a Google review, and in some cases, causes the customer to leave feedback twice — once internally through Square and again on Google.
I’m wondering if there’s a way to adjust the trigger so that as soon as a new customer completes their first checkout, (I’m a Barber, a services based business),they automatically receive a link to leave a Google review. This would streamline the process and make it easier to capture feedback early, without waiting for them to become a repeat client or submit internal feedback first.
Is it possible to update the automation to trigger the Google review request immediately after checkout, rather than relying on Square’s internal milestones?
I just noticed that it's says regular customers. That would definitely be a beneficial feature add.
