Can i text customer list without them subscribing? I'm new to square, it's why I'm asking.

Square requires customers to opt in before receiving marketing texts to ensure compliance with messaging regulations. However, you can collect consent through checkout, invoices, or a sign-up form. If you're looking to send transactional texts (like order updates), those don’t require a subscription.

I'm planning on opening a Barber Shop very soon and need to let everyone know where I'm relocating to. So what would be the best way to let them know if I can't use Square for that? I just recently started using Square and imported all my clients there.
