Can I see who has set up Customer Accounts?

Is there a way I can who has set up a customer account through my website? I feel as though it's gotta be somewhere so I can help answer their questions about what I see. I got asked today what address I see when I look at their customer account and I can't seem to find it. The address they see and the one I see are different so it's weird.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @shannalynn01

At this time when your customers create an account on your website, they are creating a Square Profile where they can handle their information, saved cards, and contact preferences.  While you are unable to see it, your customers can visit profile.squareup.com and see their saved information there.

I hope this information is helpful!

I really feel this should change. It would be beneficial for us to see who has customers accounts. Especially for email marketing purposes or targeted sales marketing.

I understand your point here. However, at this time, to send email marketing or targeted sales marketing customers would need  (and can do so during checkout)  to give consent for marketing emails. When they give consent, you will see their contact information saved on your Customers page in the Square Dashboard.

I hope this information is helpful!

Everyone who I know that has a customer account already has given consent. It's sort of annoying much much square micromanges some stuff and doesn't fix clunky features. I should have more control over my customers, reports, marketing, etc. I interact with them everyday, so I know what they want, like, hate, and request.

I really hope square makes changes because it's common sense for owners to make decisions. 😀

@shannalynn01 I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers with similar interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).
