is it possible to add customer name to a transaction?

would like to be able to quickly add customer name (surname) to each transaction without entering / setting up as a customer - is this possible?

Hi @jennim,

You’re able to add a note to a sale that will display on your customer’s digital receipt and in your payment history. Learn how to add notes on payments and item descriptions in our Support Centre.

As you also mentioned, you can also add customer information to a sale, which will be stored in your Customer Directory.
