different modifiers based on variants

I'm new to square, and still setting up my online store...haven't gone live yet.

One of our menu options is pizza. I have created size variants: personal, medium, and large. I want my customers to be able to choose toppings to add to the pizza...the problem is, the price of the additional toppings will change depending on what size of pizza they want. Is it possible that a different modifier set can populate depending on what size pizza they choose (variant). It looks to me like they can choose whatever size they want (variant), but the toppings (modifier) can only have one price attached to it.

as far as I know, you are right that the variation can not change the modifier set. Have you thought of increasing your topping price? I would look at the % of orders coming in from each variation and set the pricing of toppings so the avg will get where you need it to be.

I ended up just creating new items called "build your own personal pizza", "build your own medium pizza", etc. Then I created modifiers with ALL the topping options for each item allowing me to put different prices for the toppings. It's a work around, but it works. 🙂
