Hey Seller Community! As the year comes to an end, we're wondering...
We can't wait to read your replies and learn about your wins! ๐
Congratulations...We wish you continued success.
Biggest accomplishment would be that my store is back on track to pre-covid numbers. We're still down from 2020 but that's mostly due to the loss of our second location. Even better, we're running with a team half the size and a menu smaller than half, and our profitability is higher than ever before.
Congrats....
That is excellent! And I am right there with you on the fact that our second location had to close in 2020, but, like you, our first location is stronger than ever!! Good luck to you. Sounds like you have a solid footing, and that is great!
We are still here and going strong! Down in sales pre-covid but getting there. We are extremely grateful for the employees we have and that have stayed with us since day one! We are fortunate to have made it when so many other small businesses closed up all around us.
We wish you much continued success in the new year...
I certified in level 1 BSL (British SIgn Language) in 10 weeks and started Level 2
Like everyone here - just getting through 2021 was a major achievement.
WOW! Very cool on the BSL. Kudos ๐
Yea - I've used it serveral times in the store.
Congrats on your accomplishment..
Congrats!! I just started learning ASL and hope it'll come in handy at our shop ๐
We opened our refill shop in August and even had our first Pop-Up, where the shop was in two places at once. (And it wasn't a dumpster fire! haha)
Congratulations
This year our biggest accomplishment was opening our 1st storefront in June. We've had a great year and I can't wait to see what we do in 2022....
Getting my customers to bring their own shopping bags to my farmers' markets. And my delivery customers to give me two cotton totes. These totes are going back and forth with delivery till they fall apart.
And for those that still want a plastic bag, they will pay $0.75. That amount will be quadrupled in December 2022 and I will donate that to EarthEcho International
Its mission is to "empower youth to take action that protects and restores our water planet". Philippe Cousteau Jr. is a customer of mine.
Love this initiative!! Wish more shops and markets would implement eco changes. We use EcoEnclose for all our shipping products and have recycled paper bags for customers in store. As a retail shop we honestly didn't think anyone would notice but us, and yet we've had several customers thank us for not using plastics!
With my final 2021 event on December 18th, our year will be complete with a total of 40 Art, Craft, and Vintage Market Events in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
That's amazing!! Would love to connect if you ever have time (or maybe start a discussion thread?) since we are just starting to add events/markets to our store location in AZ. There's so much to putting on a good event that I always feel like we're gonna miss something!
Being able to be flexible with the ever-changing climate of the industry and remain open!
We opened ๐
