I'm looking to sell an part out RC cars at AJs RC hobbyshop and need a little guidance thank you AJs RCs
HI @AJsRCs
So do you have an online presence? Do you utilize or are you trying to utilize social media? How does your demographics look? Are you located in a rural town, or within a populated city?
Online sales are one of the least costly ways to sell, but being found is difficult. Getting a store up takes hours of your time but once it is done it doesn't]t take more effort from you other than shipping your sales. Facebook/Instagram advertising would be cheaper ways to get your store out there. I would say as a start up you would be best to be at the race track in your area, meetups or other events around the RC clubs in your area. Getting locals to talk about you and recommend your supplies is great. Word of mouth advertising is some of the best as it is easier for a customer to remember Jim, the guy who won the race, said he got that wicked fast new motor from AJ.
My husband would be knocking down your door! Like @VanKalkerFarms said - worth of mouth is key. In your industry, all it's going to take is getting a few guys in your area to be onto you and they will spread the word. In our area, there are competitions and shops in a few places across the state. They do not advertise. They've built all of their business by hosting the comps and getting the word of mouth out. People will come from everywhere to buy and/or bargain!
