What do you do WELL?!

Okay it’s time for a little pat yourself on the back moment!

What is something you feel your business does WELL?

It is really easy to see the flaws, endless to do lists, and ideas that have yet to become reality. All of that will always be there!

What do you do amazing?! Something you feel you do so well it could even help someone else in their business if they implemented it?

We feel we do really well at connecting with customers and creating a truly safe environment for everyone! People feel at home. Seeing humans as more than a transaction….

I curse.....a lot.  So much so that I question my vocabulary sometimes  It could really benefit others from following my lead! 🤣

On a more serious note, I feel like my morals for myself are embedded into my business.  I see so many business' locally that cut corners, charge over the top and then just seem to straight up rob people for their service, not because they aren't worth it but because they see to be justifying with world events that actually don't impact them at all, but are using it as an excuse to...if that makes sense.

Great question! I can detail a vehicle extremely efficiently which translates over to an efficient team! Now, to learn how to work on my business and not in...we are getting there!

Nice!! I have found something very similar - if staff members see the owner working hard, that translates really well. Before you know it, you have a manager that works alongside them so you can focus on all the admin, marketing, accounting style stuff where you're not the operations leader.

Awe I love this question!

I am very good at "reading the room". For example, I noticed my last few hires totally schmoozed me during the interview and ended up not being good hires because they didn't get along with staff. I was not working in the salon anymore, so it made sense to have our Salon Manager and another staff member conduct the interview after I finished with the phone call screening (logistics-based).

Process documents are also very big for me in the business. I have everything written down with why we do this task and how we get it done.

Flexibility is a big deal for me, as well. As I hire more people, they come up with better ways to complete tasks so I welcome that feedback and update my style of doing things!
