Tammy,

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't gotten any orders yet.  What are you doing to try and get orders?  How are you selling?

Well.... that depends.  What part of Square do you use?  If you can give us more info on what you do and what you're using, I'm sure one of the Champions can reply with some answers 🙂

Needing a report that captures the sales tax to pay monthly taxes to the state.  We are getting through it, but having to copy and paste onto a sheet and go thru manually to break it down.  There's gotta be a better way with a system such as this.

Hey @Black2025

The new Square AI may work perfectly for this.  If you click on the AI icon, and type in a question like "How much sales tax was collected in July 2025" it should populate the total amount...correctly.

Let me know if that will work for you and maybe free up a headache or two!

Alternatively, fro the Dashboard, you can click on Reports>Accounting.>Sales Tax and then filter the dates up top to your specific period of time needed.

Hello,

I am Mary, Owner of Cooper's Gift Baskets LLC. We started off as a hobby out of our house back in 2016. Fast Forward 9.5 years later, we are now an LLC. With having 3 boys in elementary/high school school, we wanted something I could do at home around school hours.

Our youngest son is on the Autism Spectrum, so that made it more reasonable for me to start this off as a Hobby!  Now, he is a Freshman in High School, taking ROTC for the Aeroscience side and wanting to join the Rifle Team. Such a big differance from him being 3 years old and non verbal. Between Speech Therapy, IEP, and Preschool, He wont stop talking if its something he is interested in the subject.  Our middle son (2 years older), just entered his Junior year of High School and loves taking the Law & Public Safety Classes. Yes, He got an award and also got a letter stating those classes stay with him for life. He loves the fact he is almost done with High School. He is the best big brother as he shows his little brother how to navigate High School.  Our Oldest, now 23, graduated High School back in 2020. He got lucky with being able to walk at the ballpark but first, PIR let the class of 2020 (His school was selected) do 2-3 laps around their track! That was the best 2 things for all of us in 2020! Now he is an Assistant General Manager at Wingstop after being there for 3 years.

Here at Cooper's Gift Baskets, we specialize in Custom Made to Order Gift Baskets. We prefer to switch out that bottle of Coke out with a Pepsi or the Hershey's Bar for a Snicker's Bar. We sell most of our Budget Baskets the most. THese are the $50 Basketsstuffed with all the goodies or the smell good fragrances. Occassionaly we will get that $100 order come through for someone looking to spend money.  🙂

Welcome!  Gift baskets are always great!  We have twin granddaughters, a niece and a nephew that are all on the spectrum.  Awesome for him to be in high school and making his way through life!

Those are not only necessary but such incredible services to offer!  Welcome!  My husband and son are both firefighters and are regularly required to update their cards.  If you haven't already, make sure you offer your classes to your volunteer fire departments in your area!  I also know a lot of churches and schools like to have babysitting classes offered.

Hello everyone! I am the owner of SloppySoap! I have been in business since 2014, and have been using Square as a POS since 2016. I love making things - especially beach, Autumn, Halloween, and Christmas soaps! I also love to write pysanky eggs, nature photography, and wiring zentangle! I have had storefronts at three malls (one of which was a dead mall and short lived), and enjoy every minute of it!
I am excited to ask questions to others about their use of the online webstore provided by Square. My goal is to move everything over to Square.

Such a sweet comment! Thank you so much for the kind words. Yinz are making me blush! The pysanky eggs are called Ukrainian Easter eggs. My grandparents were Carpatho-Rusyn immigrants and I was taught this art form from the time I was wee tiny. Thanks again!

Hello! We run a drink truck, and we are wondering what method is he best for keeping the square stand connected to the internet? We are using an iPhone hotspot to our wi-fi IPad generation 10.

Hi @Spud7200.. That sounds like a great method to me.  However, if you don't want to mess with your cell data usage, you could invest in a Verizon (or other) mobile hotspot.  Alternatively, you could purchase an iPad with a cell connection.
