Hello everyone!
I am a Canadian using square for 3 businesses - 1 is brick and mortar and the others 2 are online. 

I've been using square for my online businesses for about 12 years or so.

For the retail POS in a physical location, I've been at it for under a year (this one is not my business but I am managing this piece among other responsibilities). There were a lot of things being done in a quirky way, so I am working on bringing things into compliance, utilizing the features of square properly, and using better business practices.

Hi, I have been using square to take payments for my little business teaching Baking classes. I carry utensils etc. which I sell to students, and have used it to take payments for classes. I love Square's no nonsense practical functionality. But I now want to start selling online video classes, live streaming classes etc. I am seeking advice as to how to set this up. Is there a way to set up a kind of online community and to market various online offerings?

this is AWESOME! Such a useful tool. Not everyone grew up with someone who bakes and they are such amazing skills to have. Love that you have the utensils for sale too! As a self taught baker I wish I would have had a class like this.

I’m excited to join Square’s Community Corner as I grow my work in special education advocacy, coaching, and digital learning. I don’t run a physical storefront. Instead, I create online courses, digital tools, and educational services for families, educators, and aspiring advocates.
After many years as an educator and administrator, I’m transitioning into full‑time advocacy so I can support families more openly and creatively. My goal is simple: make special education clear, accessible, and affordable.
I offer:
• Special education courses
• Digital downloads and tools
• Coaching and case consultation
• Direct advocacy support
I would like to work directly with families in NY and MD, and to provide general guidance to those in other states. I’m active on Substack, Teachable, and Instagram, and I’m beginning to build a small but engaged community on each platform.

I keep my prices reasonable because I want families to get the help they need without financial strain. Course and digital product sales will allow me to keep direct service costs low and accessible, but I need to get those sales!

I’m looking forward to connecting, learning, and growing with this community.

My name is Stephen and I have the Crescent Head Surf Co on the mid north coast of NSW in Autstralia.

I think my Square Register is pretty good but Im having trouble with the USB bar code reader.

It will recognise some barcodes but not all. 

How can I fix this?

Hi everyone! I’m Alejandro, a software developer based in Miami. My wife and I run a salon here, and through our day-to-day experience with clients, we kept hearing the same request again and again: an easier way to manage referrals and reward loyal customers.

That’s what led me to build ViralRef , a referral program made specifically for Square merchants. It helps businesses create a simple and effective way to turn happy customers into repeat customers and new referrals.

I built it because this became one of the most requested features in my wife’s salon, and I thought it could be useful for other Square sellers too. I’d love for some of you to try it and share your feedback.

Right now, I’m looking for 10 beta users who would like early access and want to help shape the product in exchange for free use during the beta.
