Website not seen

Hi

Ive just spent days creating a free webiste on square and finally pressed publish today but cant see it anywhere. I can only see it if I type full address directly on the top bar (SQUARE.SITE) Is this because its free. If i upgrade will it be available in google

When you say you can't find the website anywhere - where are you looking? Do you mean in online searches?

It can take Google a few days to index your website for listing, and keep in mind you can improve where your site ranks in search by optimizing your SEO.

I was looking fo rit in google search. I have completed all the SEO info in each page.

however if i search for "gift box girl" nothing will come up in google, if i search "giftboxgirl.square.site" it will throw up our contact us page.

Is this because its the free version?

It's not quite as simple as that unfortunately, and is not impacted by changing your subscription level.

For context, there are billions of web pages on the internet each competing for attention on search engines. The term "gift box girl" is going to be a pretty hotly contested search term when you take into account every online business, globally, that might be marketing gift boxes to women - especially around the holiday season! There's an entire industry built around SEO optimisation and professionals who are experts at helping optimize search results for your website.

It may be worth consulting with an SEO specialist if you'd like more help with this!

Ive just checked www.giftboxgirl.square.site and i keep getting error message saying my site is not secure. what do i need to do for that?

Interesting, the site wasn't displaying that message yesterday when I took a look at it. 

What changes did you make since then? Usually this message appears while the site is in the process of registering a new domain / SSL certificate.
