Using amex merchant ID with square?

Is it possible to use your own amex id with square? Or are we bound to only use the amex rate with square?

You wouldn't be able to add your merchant ID to your Square account. If you're processing over 250k annually, with an average ticket size of $15, reach out to our sales team to discuss a custom processing rate.
