Syncing Square Items & Categories with Weebly

Hi

having major issues - using the apps & the computer to setup new site.

All items & categories are perfect in Square but not being imported to Weebly properly, ie missing items & duplicating categories on the website (not showing in the back end though).

Any ideas how to fix this as we’re trying to go live ASAP.

Hi DSRK,

Looks like your "shop Now" page has all categories and items organised correctly with 27 items available.

Are you trying to build more pages with your categories in them, if so you may be using "Featured categories" and this may be why you are seeing duplicate categories.

You can adjusts these in the editor to only show the categories you choose.

Like @dimo10 mentioned, it looks like all your items and categories are visible here https://www.dsracingkarts.com.au/s/shop. You can edit your website further to showcase your items on your home page via the site editor. It can be a bit tricky to get started, so check out this guide for step-by-step instructions on getting started.

Where can I find the featured categories - I'm not having a lot of luck?

We have all the categories setup correctly now but, find that one "Chains" is duplicated - this duplication does not appear anywhere in the back end of it.  The Category has 2 items in it - correct, the second one (The duplicate) has nil and I can't find how to remove it from the website as it's not in square or under website editting anywhere?

As you can see I have 2 x Plastics & 2 x Chains.

The first of each has the relevant items in it, and are fine.

The second of each, further down, are not - they are not created in my Square inventory or categories.

I need to remove them, but I have no idea how 😞

I see what you mean @DSRK! You can find your categories via these steps:

1. Sign in to your Square Online Dashboard.

2. From the menu on the left, select Items > Site Categories. 

3. Locate any duplicate categories and click on the three ellipses ... to delete, or hide the selected category from your site.

That’s my issue - there are no dulicate site categories there at all.

Looks like it’s “ghosting” from before I put them in alphabetical order.

Yes reached out - turns out it's not me - thank goodness.  It has been passed onto the engineers as a system glitch.

Hopefully can be rectified soon.
