Thanks for the add
I’m new to squarespace I had the website built for me.
I sell custom made jewellery, I would be really grateful if anyone could help,
I have one mans extra large ring to sell, I have a choice of 16 colours the first man to buy it can choose any of them colours, but to add the colours I have to say i have 1 in stock of each colour, total 16 rings available when I only have the one, so my stock level would be wrong on all my different style rings, it would cost me £££ to have all the stock in to cover every variation, if another few people came along Squarespace will let them buy more. I’m not great on computers I just don’t know how to do this I been trying for days, any help much appreciated thanks
Hi Daisy
I think this is what you are hoping to accomplish.
Under variations tab -
Regular, make stock level 1 and enter your selling price.
Modifiers tab +
Manage modifiers, create new, select from list, give the checklist a name ie "select colour' then enter the colour options below in the add choice box (one colour at a time clicking done after each colour) leave the additional cost £0. Click save
That should do it, on the front end your customer get a dropdiwn box of the colours to choose from and after purchase the stock level will be zero.

Hi gary
thanks for replying I can’t find the tabs you mentioned, these are pages I get up, any chance of instruction from clicking on e-commerce, please
After opening up square dashboard, click online store, item tab, item library, create new item halfway down the page is the variations section and under that the modifiers section.
