Square terminal for events without good internet

Has anyone used the square terminal at events with poor internet and can you link it too your Telstra phone connection?

Also we have no power source at these events how long does it last on full charge?

To answer your first question, you can certainly connect your Square Terminal to your mobile data in the event connecting to Wi-Fi is not an option. The steps to connect to your mobile data are the same when pairing to a Wi-Fi network, and you can view these steps here. To change networks quickly, you can navigate to More > Settings > Hardware > Network.

In terms of how much charge the Square Terminal holds, this will vary depending on the frequency with which you are using the device throughout the day. If your Square Terminal is fully charged, you should be able to get through a standard day of trading (around 6 - 8 hours) without needing to plug it in. You can also use a USB-C portable battery pack to charge your Square Terminal on the go.
