Heya @Coffeestories

Just to confirm - are you referring to the screen with the green check mark when you process a sale? This cannot be disabled at the moment, however, you can disable the receipt screen via these steps.

Hi Arie, thank you for your reply. I mean the confirmation on the eftpos terminal. After touching cards, the screen will appear 2 button ask to accept or decline the transaction. Do u mean we cannot disable it? That would be very inconvenient when it’s busy :((((

Hmm, @Coffeestories - can you capture this in a photo when you process a sale next? I am not able to replicate this on my Square Terminal. When a customer taps their card, and the transaction is successful it will automatically be approved. There would be an option to send a receipt after. I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

Hi Arie,

my mistake, it requires Confirm & Pay before the customer touch their card. I don’t know how to attach photo here :)) but just a blue button with white writing Confirm & Pay on eftpos teminal screen.

Did anyone work out how to fix this setting on the Terminal?

Hi @tara_vill,

I'm jumping in here to take a closer look at this with you! I'd like to get up to speed on this.

Can you please answer the following in your reply?

1. Is tipping currently enabled on your Square Terminal?

2. Does the 'Confirm and Pay' screen appear for every card transaction, or only for certain transactions?

3. Is your Square Terminal currently connected to your Square Point of Sale or Square Dashboard?

We'll monitor this space for your reply. Please note that our responses might be delayed during the upcoming public holidays, but we'll strive to respond as soon as possible!
