Hi all, I'm brand new here and trying to set up my shop. What are the must knows that I should know, tips, tricks and quirks?

I have a question about that - it says I need to set tax up based on the countries I want to ship to (I am UK based) I am a little confused about that?

Hi @renegadeco, thank you for reaching out! The Square Online site's tax tool is setup to take in consideration of the fact that there are different tax rates for different states in the US. 

If you are based in the UK, you can setup tax rate for the UK only. If you are looking to ship internationally, I'd recommend consulting a professional tax adviser to check your tax obligations.

@renegadeco Tips trick & quirks...... there are so many! 

The systems (online & POS) are really customisable so without knowing what you're selling or wanting to achieve there could be lots of really unhelpful tips & tricks 😂

Quirks wise - there are a few, but it's mainly about working within the limits of what the online side can do. They seem to be updating & adding extras all the time, so if there's something you want to do & can't pop a post in the feature requests & someone might know a way around it.
