I MISS BOOK CLUB!!! Who's with me?!?!
I know it's not coming back and I'm okay with that but...
How many of you feel like you're missing a learning opportunity without it?
I know that we all have opportunities to learn - daily - and in many different forms. But how many of us do it? Do we make the effort, all on our own and continue it? I know I don't make enough of an effort. Book Club helped me do that by having a deadline and needing to finish a book or a chapter so that I could engage in the conversations. It was "forced" learning and I needed it.
My thought with this post is, for us to just simply engage and talk about what we're reading lately and what we're learning. We've all got something to offer that's going to benefit someone else. So don't hold back! I'll go first!
I am currently reading Atomic Habits by James Clear.
I'm only a couple of chapters in, but it's good. I mean, GOOD. Very easy to read and comprehend, not to mention totally makes sense!
I'm currently in a phase of learning a lot about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and putting together all of the pieces of information surrounding CBT and Neurolinguistic Programming that I have learned throughout the last number of years.
The purpose of this book is to learn how to build good habits to help you be successful in every area of your life, including business and how to break bad habits that you want to get rid of.
Very interesting!
Who wants to go next?
We read this a couple of years ago! Can’t wait to hear your takeaways.
Reading Fiction right now due to vacation!
