I am new to Square.

My first Square report said I made $335 in one day minus $3.68 in fees. Based on that report, I expect that equals $331.32 that to be transfered into my bank. However, I received an email from Square saying they sent $289.32 to my account. Would someone please explain this?

Thank you.

Ann

The sales might be that, but possibly a sale did not happen or was not executed and timed out. Could also be customer asked for a refund from the card itself.

It could also be that you have a certain amount paid in cash. If so, than that explains the difference between the Daily Sales and the Amount Transfered.  To find out if this is the case, go to Transactions-Choose a DATE-choose a METHOD of PAYMENT and get the REPORT. Hope this helps!

Hello @AnnGriffiths thanks for reaching out to The Seller Community! I am sorry there was some confusion with your first transfers. When looking at your transactions for the day I would make sure you actually have the sales filtered by card only,  sometimes sellers forget to do that. If you are still having questions about the transfer please reach out to Customer Support at 855-809-9000 / squ.re/contactsqsupport for we can investigate this further. To protect your security we cannot discuss account-specific information through this platform. i hope this helps clear some things up!
