I am getting an error in the Services List Online

It reads -  There was an error loading this section .

Any suggestions.

That error message usually pops up where there’s small sync issue or something temporarily blocking the page from loading fully. 
Here are few quick things you can try that often fix it right away: 

1. Refresh and clear your cache Try refreshing the page first. If that doesn’t work, clear your browser’s cache/cookies and reload your services list. 
2. Try a different browser or device

Sometimes the issue is browser- specific. Switching to chrome or safari (or using your phone) can help pinpoint of it’s local. 
3. Check your internet connection 

A weak or unstable connection can interrupt how services load. 
4. Log out and back in 

This can reset your session and usually clears minor loading errors. 

If it’s still showing the same error after those steps, it might be a temporary glitch on square’s end. Give it a little time and check again - these usually resolve pretty quickly. Hope that helps get your services list back up and running smoothly!

Thanks so much for your reply - I had done all those steps before coming into the community . The error was on there this morning and still this evening .. I will try again tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks for the updates! Sounds like you’ve covered all the right steps. If you the error’s still showing tomorrow, it might be something on square’s end that just needs a little time to clear up. That error can sometimes happen if there’s small issue with how the services List is syncing. 
Another thing to try is: 

 

1. Check your service items — Sometimes a missing or incomplete item can prevent the list from loading. Make sure all your service item have a name, price, and category. 
2. Update your square online site — Go to Website> pages> services, make a small change (like saving the page again) and republish. This can refresh the section and clear the error. 
3. Browser/device test
Try opening the services list on another browser or device to see if it loads there.
