How often do you meet other Square business owners in person?
Hey everyone ✨
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend a supper club event in Dublin, where restaurant and cafe owners from across Ireland came together to connect, share insights, and hear from our partners like Squid and OpenTable about the trends shaping 2025.
So many people told me afterward how much they loved the chance to chat with fellow business owners, especially since it’s not always easy to make time for these kinds of meetups. As someone who truly values the opportunity to connect and meet with folks in person — whether it's Square business owners or even colleagues on my team — I'd love to know:
How often do you meet other Square business owners in person?
Do you attend networking events, have informal meetups, or just grab coffee with fellow sellers? Or maybe you're all in a big group chat but haven’t met up yet? I can’t wait to hear about your experiences!

sounds like a good idea. I've never had the opportunity to meet other Square retailers, at least through something planned by Square

We are a mobile business that works at state fairs. I have several people who sign up with Square, so we frequently meet up. Many of them don’t actively participate in the seller community, so I make an effort to keep them updated on any new features or changes.

A fantastic event, Tra! It's so valuable to meet with fellow business owners in person and share insights. I usually attend networking events and grab coffee with a few local sellers to exchange ideas. It helps a lot in staying updated on trends and finding new ways to improve. What kind of trends were discussed at the supper club event? Would love to hear more!

I really would love to create events, kind of like the chamber does, focusing on networking and talking with other boutique owners about what's working and what's not for us. Creating a community of support among other business owners would be really cool.

I see a few cafes etc using it, but not in a situation where we can chat generally. I have helped a couple places out when they had dramas haha.

I’ve honestly never heard of meeting up just to talk about using Square. But I’ve had several opportunities to help folks set up their system before the farmers markets opened and they were experiencing issues. I’m always happy to help.
I guess now that I think about it, my art group that is spread across the country and I’ve never met any of them in person, we share tips on how to analyze the sales reports and data via our chat group.
