Any experience with solar?

I understand companies are regional to a degree, but does anyone have any recommendations for going solar in your business? we are in Atlanta/Decatur GA if anyone has specific recommendations. We've been told as a small business by a few companies that we are too small for corporate and too big for companies just doing homes. We have a large yard that gets full sun through a lot of the day and also a back patio/awning area that is quite large (front lot is about 8,000 sq feet and back is around 3,000 sq feet).

Any experience/info appreciated - particularly if you have GA info. We've been getting spammy emails about solar with different signature files but the same origination email or name so it is hard to determine who to trust. GA Power used to do the consults themselves but that has ceased.

Can't help you with local as we are based in Australia, but I can give you some help with what to look for.
we installed our solar just over 12 months ago, I would have done it earlier but had some AC ducts and other crap on the roof that i had to get rid of first.

So we went with a 12KW system.

Fronius inverter

We use about 98% of the power generated. this will be your best ROI.

We planing your system, you need to size it to the amount of power used during the day. Going bigger will cost more and decrease ROI.

Also find a local installer who has been around for a while, we find installers with the lowest prices will be gone in a couple of years as their reputation will be shot and will never come back to support you after installation.

So at this rate the system will be paid back in 2 years and with the additional cost of new AC, roof repairs and other small items at the time the total payback will be done in 3 years.
