Accidental sale charge

New to using square. Yesterday I was trying to charge a client for a spa service. I have no items or services listed in the app yet ( honestly need a tutorial). I entered in the dollar amount thinking this person could just tap, but it posted as a gross sale. They did not use any card , there was no actual transaction, however , now on my reports it looks as though that was a gross sale. It wasn’t . 
how do I erase that ?

At the moment, you wouldn't able to delete that transaction at this time. You have the option to refund the transaction, so the reports will balance out in the end. 

 

Being able to edit or delete those types of transactions is still a Feature Request. Feel free to drop this over to the Ideate Board, so other sellers can jump on board too.
