How can you send an automatic text to clients about their appointments?

Like if I wanted to tell every client “there’s validated parking” or “waiting area on the second floor”

I don't believe Square has that as of right now. We would like this feature as well for our salon. I believe you can only customize your email notifications to have to that in there.

Even a custom email sounds great! Does yours automatically send it out when they book the appt? Or do you have to set it up for each person?

Actually I was mistaken, you can’t create a custom email to be sent out when clients book an appointment. But you can edit your email reminders to have any instructions in it and that will be sent out automatically when you set it up for clients to receive reminder emails.

You actually absolutely can customize all of the automated emails & texts to customers - from when the appointment is booked/accepted, to reminders - to include things like that to go out to all customers!

 

Just follow this link:

https://squareup.com/appointments/business/client_relations

 

Then scroll down, and go through all of the different email/text options to type in whichever text you'd like.


The initial email would probably be called "Business Accepted Appointment" under the first section called New Appointments. This message would be sent out when you manually accept a new appointment, or if you have Automatic Acceptance turned on as a setting, it will automatically go out when they book it.

 

You would probably also want to include this information in your "Reminder" & "Reminder with Confirmation" messages too
