Exclude retail with service total

Is there a way we can exclude retail into the total when client is tipping? I don’t want to appear I am cheating them by then clicking tipping percentages based on service plus retail total.

I have been BEGGING Square for years now to change this, or at least give us an option for it in the system. Nothing has ever come of it, that I’m aware of. Extremely frustrating!

Exactly!!! And when are they ever going to give us organized service categories on the platform like “facials”, “waxing”, and so forth!

I just let them know the total then say the “your service total is…”

Yes I do that now, but it’s that extra step and hassle of grabbing a calculator to do the math then customizing the tip for the final total!

Hi, @Willynilly1! Thank you for posting! I think this sounds like the same question that was posted in a thread about tipping just on service. Can you take a look at the best answer in the thread I just linked? It might help you do this until we build something in to do it.
