Hi @Tlo65 there are so many reasons a new account can’t be verified.
- The account holder’s SSN or EIN doesn’t match
- names on the bank accounts don’t match
- the IRS, or SSA, or homeland security (thank you GHW Bush!) doesn’t match
- Visa, Mastercard, etc throws up red flags
- and so, so many more!
- You are on a watch list.
- You have another Square account with that EIN/SSN
- another card processor (Stripe, Clover, Amazon, PayPal) have red flagged you.
- Your business isn’t a Square supported business
- and I’m just getting started.
The only way to know for certain is to call, as in phone call, Square Customer Success here. They can point you in the right direction. But DO NOT process any more transactions until you resolve this! That’s would fall into the category of insanity!
Sorry I can’t help more. But only they can!
