We utilize the square checking account and we have our square debit card that we make purchases on.
At times we have to return things and a refund is issued to the debit card from the merchant. You can clearly see on the transactions log that the specific merchant issued a refund as there is a transaction line showing merchant name with “card refund” under it for the transaction type, then a positive amount that should essentially add back into the checking account balance on the square banking balance screen. Yet the balance does not move at all.
several times now we have gotten a refund back with no balance chance. So we are looking for help or someone who has also dealt with this.

Firstly, when checking the status of your refund in your Square Debit Card activity, does it say that the refund is pending or completed? You may not see the funds in your Balance yet if the refund is still in the pending state. It can take up to 2-14 business days to process a refund, from the date the refund was initiated.
If you still don't see your refund added to your Balance after 14 days, please contact our Support Team, so they can take a look and escalate further if necessary.
