The live agents giving false information - this is insanity

Spent three HOURS on the phone with two Square Banking Reps asking how we could simply switch me to the primary on our square account and also have the checking account reflect my name as well. They told me that once the transfer was initiated, our existing square bank account and cards would be closed and once the transfer was complete in Square (which would take 24-48 hours) I would be able to open a new checking account it my name.  Well, today I went in and tried to open the new checking account per the banking reps instructions from two days prior, it showed the old name on the checking account and it could not be changed as the field was greyed out.  I called back in asking why I could not open the new checking account as the instructed me to do. I was told the following: 1. That while the transfer of ownership on the square account was complete it would be SIX MONTHS before I could open a new checking account because they had to "wait for the IRS to confirm my information" - my head exploded. Then I was told: 2. They should of told you that you didn't need to transfer the ownership, that we needed to actually CLOSE our Square account entirely and open a new one and THEN I could open a checking account immediately.  When I asked why her info was completely different than what I spent three hours getting just two days prior she mumbled something about being sorry for the confusion but that she was very sure I would "just" need to close out our entire Square account and reopen a new one (and have faith all our info would migrate)  - she said that the "migration would take up to five business days. (Meaning, I would have NO ACCESS to my business for five days.)  I told her this is insanity and that I have lost all confidence in what any of them tell me (through a poorly connected headset that had me asking them to repeat themselves and battling the language barrier.) At this point I had lost 4 1/2 hours of my time and 2 days of not having my Square checking account and I demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was told that one would get back to me within 5 business days. INFURIATING.  I hung up the phone and asked the virtual assistant about the process- it said once the transfer was complete in Square that my name would automatically be put on the checking account- that I would not need to do anything.  I told the automated chat that their faulty information from their live reps should be reported to the authorities or that a class action suit may be in order for any damages caused by the incorrect information. I know its just an auto chat but I needed to vent.  Well. Guess what. Not 10 minutes later, my name magically appeared on the checking account connected to our Square Account. No need to close/reopen, no six month wait (which I knew could not be true) - I am terrified that this is the level of chaos happening at Square. Anyone else have similar issues?

ugh this is really frustrating for sure. Some of the reps don't seem to know what they're doing. I had an issue updating my business address in payroll. I emailed the guy my address and he still got it wrong and now they can't remove the incorrect address. They did get the new one added but the incorrect one still shows as an option.

My rep is working on it for me. Do you happen to have a rep?
