Square savings transfer issue

Why can’t I transfer money from my saving to my account?!

Ah.  Sorry to have wasted your time, then, but since that information wasn’t provided I couldn’t have guess that an error message was involved.

 

So, it’s entirely possible that you are having a browser/cache issue.  First, I’d recommend closing your browser and clearing your browser’s cookies and history.  Then sign back into your Square dashboard try again.  

 

If that doesn’t fix the problem, you’ll need to get on the phone with Square Support.  Savings transfers are working for me, and I see no reported problems in that arena.  This tells me you probably have a problem with your individual Square account that only support can identify and try to resolve.

Hey there @Haleyydawnnn.  You CAN.  From your online dashboard main menu, go to Banking > Balance > Square Savings.  Click on the “Total saved” line.

 

If you only use general savings, and not folders, you can click the “Transfer out” button at the top, select the amount you are transferring and the destination (your Square balance of your local bank account).  

 

If you use folders, you can click on any folder, then follow the steps above.

It always brings up a box below saying “Transfer out is currently unavailable”

I made a mistake by transferring my money out of my checking account to  savings. I need to transfer my money out of savings back to my checking account because I am a -1400+ dollars.

Hey there @Modern28.  No problem.  It’s as simple as going into your Square Savings account and initiating another transfer back to your checking account.  If you are using Square Checking that is instantly done.  If you are using your linked bank account, that will taker a couple of business days to complete.
