Square App/Website giving me constant errors when applying for square card (web/app, pc/mobile)

No matter what platform I'm on, I get an "Oops something went wrong, Please try again later." message when applying for the Square card. I'm at a loss because I've had multiple conversations and "escalations" with the customer support team and they told me that all should be fine and working as my account is completely verified. In reality, the problem persists and it seems nobody actually knows why I'm getting this error. I feel disappointed in this company and I'm starting to regret buying a square reader since I wont even be able to use my funds directly. If somebody, anybody can fix this, I would feel a lot less like I'm getting fleeced by this corporation.

I've heard back from our team, and they've confirmed that access to apply for a Square card is enabled, and there aren't any account-specific blockers present. 

To confirm, when you try to apply for the Square card, are you signed in to your account using the Account Owner's email address? If this process is attempted from an employee account, the application process won't complete successfully.

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

Still not working. I am signed in as the owner. I can show a screen recorded video of myself logged in as the owner, signing and applying for the card, and it then going into “validating” for weirdly long and then giving me an error page.
