September 2025 Loan Offers?

Currently paid back 78% on my current loan. All green indicators (except for paid back percentage). We are on our 26th loan with Square and these loans have helped our women owned business survive through some rough times.  In 2024 we had a our best year ever with a 34% increase YOY. We are trending up 13% this year could really use a new loan to help scale going into a busy holiday season.  Our last loan we are got offered at 60% paid back in February 2025.  We make our 60 day minimum payments in about 10 days. Our credit card processing volume is up 6.2% this year over last year.  New customers are increasing this year and retention is up YOY also.  Really wish there was some kind of indicator to help plan on when new offers could come.  @Abby_M any suggestions or help?

Hey @CakeHopeLove !

I always love to hear how our loans help business during tough times! We appreciate you for continuing to look to us for your businesses funding needs.

With that being said, your account is automatically reviewed daily to determine eligibility! New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid.

If you become eligible again, we’ll notify you directly through email and your Square Dashboard.

Again, we appreciate your loyalty when choosing to partner with us! Please know that your loan history is reviewed in determining loan eligibility, but there are other factors of your account that are also considered.

Let me know if theres anything I can assist with, always happy to help to the best of my ability! ❤️

Adalynn thanks so much for the response.  I understand our accounts are looked at everyday and we will see an offer if one is available on our dashboard.  We have been using square loans since 2014. We will just keep an eye on our loan dashboard and keep our fingers crossed.

Congrats! These threads are nice to have as some sort of reference and or hope.  I have had 10-11 loans with square had my best yr as well. Paid 85% of current loan, never had to make manual payment with any of them.  All my metrics in green everything increase sales, volume, swipes, mix of customers. So,  I’m patiently waiting for my next loan offer.  I agree these loans have help our small business grow so much and as women owned business as well I’m def grateful for them when they do roll in 🙂

I know when you need them and everything is green and an offer has not shown I always get uneasy that it is not going to happen.  Hopefully one day there will be a better way to plan, but now it is just keep processing.   My new offer was also at a lower percentage each day, so that was also nice.

Hi I am in the same boat been with Square 2014 and had many loans . I’m at 79% and as a woman owned small business it has helped me so much. I have never had any chargebacks or anything negative with Square. Did you call square or anything else maybe to help get them to look over your loan account.

Lisa the only thing I did was create this thread.  I am not sure if @Abby_M did anything to have anyone look over it.

I want to add something here so that no one gets the wrong idea.

The fact that @CakeHopeLove made a post and then got an offer is entirely a happy coincidence and nothing more.  @Abby_M did not intervene.  No Square employee CAN intervene or look things over and override the algorithm to make offers come sooner for any seller, period.

Also, the algorithm is gender-neutral, race-neutral and everything-else neutral.  The algorithm only cares about processing volume, history, stats, etc.  So it ishelpful to keep discussions like these with the same sort of neutrality.  We don't want the algorithm to be programmed to give preference to anyone for any reason because once it starts doing that then questions of discrimination start coming into play.  The fact that this is a level, statistics-based playing field is a very good thing and Square should keep it that way.

Thank you @TheRealChipA I didn't mean to add any confusion or imply that Abby had any control over anything.  Agree totally that this is a good thing for all.  The only reason I brought up being a woman owned business is because most other places this is a factor and that is what make Square better.

@CakeHopeLove That was not directed to you one bit.  😏. My apologies if it came across that way.  I'm just leery on the loan board about the fact that many people will assume that YOUR experiences should be THEIR experiences.  Nothing is further from the truth, especially with Square Loans.  We are all very unique.

My other comment was similarly not because you mentioned being a woman-owner business.  Again, people often read what they want to read.  I was certain you meant it as "it's nice to have a level playing field," and I whole-heartedly agree. Honestly, I've loved your thread.  You not only asked a question and even groused a little, which is natural.  But THEN you came back here and updated with good news!  That is so rare in the Community as to be shocking! LOL. So, thank you for everything you reported, and said.  You said nothing wrong.  I'm just leery of those who will misinterpret things.
