I’m at a bit of a loss for what else I need to do to be offered a new Square Loan at this point. I’ve been with Square for over 10 years, had 7 loans now that I’ve have paid back early every single time. Metrics are all in green, record sales year. In 2023, record numbers across the board, no refunds, no complaints or issues of any kind in our entire history. Current loan is 80% paid off, but no new offer in site. This is the kind of stuff that causes businesses to find someone else to process through! Please help! I’m sure I’ll get the same old excuses that you guys send to everyone about looking at every aspect of the business. But there isn’t a single aspect that isn’t way up. I’m not sure if there is a new process they are using now, or if there is some kind of issue with my banking or something else I’m not thinking about or aware of. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, because I could really use some new capital to start the year off with and reinvest into my business!
What’s updated? Can you explain? I’m confused
There is a section where it shows eligibility factors… below that it will show an update time.
I don’t see it
Do you see your loan circle and it should say that you are not eligible or eligible for a loan. Click that and it gives you all your metrics. In the upper right is a timestamp last update at 2:40 pm type thing. Mine is usually like noon- 2:30 pm Eastern time.
It says Last updated Dec 24 at 1:50 pm
why are we checking for this?
im at 78% never waited this long 23,550 paid off & 6,500 owe. Processed cc 23k so far this month 22k cc last month. I own a party store so it’s been super busy. Any suggestions or hopes?
do they issue them on Xmas? lol
The timestamp is the last time your account was reviewed by the algorithm. It should be updated every day. If you didn't have that timestamp that means the algorithm didn't pick up your account to be eligible or see if you are eligible for a loan. Mine is pretty regular between noon- 2:30 pm. Slower or later during the holidays and sometimes on Saturday but pretty consistent. Once you have been reviewed my offers tend to come around 7-10 pm Eastern time that night. I have had some by 4 pm during the week but I tend to be more of a Saturday night offer person. That's our busiest day, or if I run a sale I will run it on Thursday -Sat and it boosts sales and jumps up that percentage. It's been a rough year for most with the percentage now compared to 4/5 years ago. I could guarantee an offer between 70-75% not anymore and it hasn't been for well over a year. The trend was from the upper 90s to completely paid off. From late October to now we are seeing more and more in the upper 70s and 80s receive offers but that's still just a good handful. Will we ever see the 70s as the norm again I am not sure. IMO no I don't see that happening on the whole as it is a lot to roll over for most people and you instantly lose 25% of your new offer. That's just IMO and watching how things are going on average. Good luck hopefully it will kick in soon with a great offer.
What’s the update for ? What is it telling us
Here ? May I ask what I’m looking for ?
Click to view online not through the app.
Click loan details and will show you the time it updates each day
Same. Finally updated and Nothing. Smh
Hopefully, soon things will kick in after the New Year and get past all the holidays. Keep us posted!
Thank you sooo sooo much ! You have been a great help.
also does it go off of daily sales?
Yes, so if you process a percentage of your daily sales will be taken out at the end end of the day and the rest deposited into your account. If you don’t process anything that day then they don’t take anything from you or your bank. Square will send you terms and conditions for repayment and we are all different. Mine could be say 14% of daily sales and 60 day minimum to reach. We are all different and process differently. Just make sure you watch your metrics and your minimum loan date and make sure you meet it and then you will establish a great business relationship with square and as you grow so do your loans! Welcome and good luck. You have any questions or concerns just ask there are tons of us here to help.
I'm sorry I read that wrong I apologize. I believe you were asking if the metrics not loans go off your daily sales. That would be yes to both. If you didn't swipe or close for the day and didn't process a card a loan percentage isn't taken out. Also, if you didn't process the algorithm has nothing to pick up till the next card you take.
Just want to remind whoever is reading this, I can never find my last response so I just respond wherever.
As I said earlier, when I have an offer and do NOT accept it, the offer changes every 2 weeks like clockwork. For the first time in a few years, it did not change yesterday 😞 I’m not sure why but I’m at 89% paid off, owe around 2800 and still have an offer of 25300. I was hoping to see it go up yesterday (even though I’m really trying NOT to borrow again) but it hasn’t changed. Sales over the holidays were down so that might affect it. Even if the offer stayed the same, it would show up as a new offer on the Home Screen but nothing happened this time. Hopefully it’ll change today or Monday 🙏
Any update yet?
Well, that's the million-dollar question! Some people swear by it but usually get an offer that night. With the holidays everything will be slow. Are there any issues with updates? That I can check. Have you been processing regularly and that day it didn't update? Have you been updating like normal till now? If so, let me check with any issues reported.
I hate to draw attention from Square loans, but I know people are suffering and we are all looking for help since Square isn’t coming through as quick as we need. There is a company called Pipe that will loan based off your Square sales btw. If they ask, let them know Ennyluap sent you ❤️.
Thanks for this information. I just applied and connected my square account. My offer was only $4k but it would be so helpful. I hope it gets approved. It says it takes between a few minutes and 48 hours.
How do you connect to pipe?
You are an angel! I got approved for $4600! Definitely can put that to use for the business.
