I'm doing everything I can to make my business as streamlined and automated as possible using Square for Retail as the all-in-one solution, but there are issues.
I want to start scanning all of my vendor invoices into square. We do not use square banking. There is no option to attribute external payments to the invoices, ie no "Other" option.
I understand that square wants to be more of a financial institution, but trying to lock small business owners into their "ecosystem" is counterproductive.
We sell alcohol, the vendors require the use of fintech as thats what they have settled on for them to be compliant with state law in order for them to receive payment promptly as it is against state late to deliver alcohol on credit terms. We have lots of small jobbers that just get paid cash out of the till. I dont want to be forced to use square checking and debit cards.
Is there a workaround or something? Is there a third party all-in-one app that can automate accounting and inventory? i keep getting told xero and thrive.
