Money taken from my account

I run a fencing company building fences. I received a few payments today as I’ve been setting up my account. I go to check to see if anything has transferred to my bank account, and my account balance is 0. And apparently square took money from my bank somehow. Over $1,500. I want to know who in the **bleep** authorized this **bleep** because it wasn’t me and nobody I’ve dealt with speaks hardly anything above broken English and I have customers literally waiting on me that they’ve sent their materials deposits to and square takes my money from my account when I have thousands rolling in from customers. This is going ti end up with someone getting hurt either in person or I’m a court room. Either or is fine with me but I will get my money one way or another.

@Fenceworx Operating cash for your business is very serious business and can make or break your business.  I understand your frustrated as a business owner, but threats whether in anger or serious, will not help the situation, or will actually slow it down.  Usually the only person you hurt is yourself.

PSA aside, I would check your online dashboard and e-mail to see if a chargeback or something occurred.  I would only accept payments in person with a chip card that is dipped or tapped if you are taking material deposits.  Over the phone or not in person transactions can be flagged or disputed and that is the most common reason square would draft back funds other than payroll.  I would start there.

First, if you want help don't threaten to hurt someone.  What you wrote could be used against you as a threat of physical harm if someone wanted to.  Definitely not a way to get help.  If someone came into your business and said I'm going to break some kneecaps in here unless you get my fence up today You would not entertain that customer and kick them out and tell them never to come back.  It is easy to be a keyboard warrior in the age of posting on the internet but it solves nothing.

As for your account, we can't see what is happening so you would need to call Square directly, but most likely is that you either had a chargeback from a customer who reported to their credit card company this was a false charge or that you didn't do the work, or your new account has been flagged as suspicious activity based on types of transactions or card numbers being used etc.  Your Square account will tell you if it was a chargeback here. https://squareup.com/dashboard/sales/disputes
