Love Hate Relationship with Square

I few months ago I realized that my entire balance with square had been depleted by facebook ads. I’ve never done an AD or attempted to. I had to fight to get my business account back and then dispute all the charges bade by the Vietnamese account promoting her products with a splash screen of my page in the back ground. I did all the research. Presented it to square and they gave me my money back. 

The card was not in my possession. We deactivated the card and I was told to request a new one. Cool right. NOPE. Well un-be known to me this hiccup literally took away the privledge for me to have a debit card due to my card being lost no used by someone in a foreign land. 

 

Customer service via telephone is a joke. All they do is repeat the same thing back to you, tell you nothing helpful and then escalate the issue and tell you someone will reach out to you via email. 

then the email people are just as ( insert word here). Everyone I talked to tried to walk me through ordering a card and I kept getting the same error “ oops we ran into a snag” no one knew why until I finally got someone who spoke better English and explained that Square has blocked me from having a debit card. 

Only had I never really used the debit card before I was a brand new square user. I literally took 2 months trying to figure out how to use the square app and online store feature just to be denied a debit card. 

Email after email trying to dispute my case and nothing, no response, no call, no supervisor call. Nothing. I have invested wayyy too much time to just stop using the app, POS and web app at this point. 

I really just want my debit card privileges back 

I don’t feel i should have to pay the price for a thief .

Hey @ISellDopeStuff.. Sorry to hear about this. I doubt there will be more than a few sellers here who have run into this problem, and who can offer anything other than sympathy.  But, I hope I'm wrong.  However, what I can do is flag your thread to the Square Moderators here.  That will put it on their radar so that they can consult with the Banking Team.  Best of luck.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Its just very unfair to have to fight for access becuase of what someone else did.. And then to just be ignored is crazier
