Has anyone had a loan offer recently? We were counting on an offer by now at 82 percent paid because we have always had offers by now.
There have been some. Trends are running higher. What loan are you on?
Loan 7 or 8 our processing was maybe a little lower than the last time but we are always ahead on payments usually by a month. We are at 83 percent and no offers yet
Hi @Skitchens39
Thanks for posting on the Seller Community.
New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid. Offer eligibility is largely based on current payment processing data, which means eligibility can change as frequently as your business does. Because businesses are dynamic, we’re unable to guarantee Square Loan offers.
At this time, we can’t predict if or when your business may be eligible for an additional Square Loan, however, we will continue to monitor your account for eligibility. If your business becomes eligible to apply for a loan, we’ll notify you through your Square Dashboard.
Don’t hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions or concerns.
Same here 83% as of right now. Just finished paying my minimum a month early. Patiently waiting. This is my 13th loan with square
Same here! at 96% almost paid the entire loan off in less then a month we are 200% in sales.....
I was reading through the Square Loans page details, and read that Square has started doing soft credit pulls for loan eligibility. It now makes sense why there seems to be less loans, longer renewal times, and lesser approval amounts.
Oh wow. Well it was nice while it lasted
Update. Just got approved for a loan at 83% at 4:45pm. My last loan was 9,900 and this one was 5,630. I won't complain but ive never seen it lower than the previous one.
Was your processing volume the same or lower/higher than it has been? Curious
Higher than last year
Thank you for this. This gives me hope! I’m at 82%
Im 93% paid off, 52k loan ive paid almost 47k in a year. And my metrics are all excellent on each category. Processing volume is excellent and im doing around 30k a month. From what im reading people are not getting offers anywhere close to what they used to. And no offers even several weeks after 100% pay off. Id def consider other options because what im now understanding is its easy to get stuck in the square loan revolving door and yes they fund fast but the daily fast pay off causes cash flow issues. I just got a HELOC loan and now instead of paying 3k a month i got 50k and only pay $350 a month and only 7% interest. And my credit isnt great. So def research if a heloc is a option for you!
I appreciate that information I’ve gotten like 20 loans from Square. I’m at 80% right now and still nothing. please message me if you receive an offer for what I understand. It’s a computer algorithm that determines everything there’s no human interaction
I promise you it’s coming, it’s just so random I doubt any one knows cause every business is different
I appreciate you. Thank you
This is my 6th Square Capital loan. I’ve repaid 96% of a $27,000+ loan, all eligibility indicators are green, and my minimum payment is satisfied through March 2026. Despite this, I’m not receiving any new offers. I’ve contacted the Square Support team multiple times and continue to receive generic responses without any explanation as to why I’m not eligible or what specific factor is blocking an offer. I’m not asking for special treatment just clarity. What exact metric or requirement is preventing new offers in cases like this? If a manual review is possible, I’d appreciate knowing how to request one. Has anyone else experienced this recently or received a clear explanation?
I am at 97% still no.... its sad and frustrating....i am thinking to switch my POS to some other vendor....but I don't want to go through the hassle coz I have enrolled to square loyalty also....I have loyalty customers as well...its like I am stuck...
Hi @csmajesticinc1 !
We appreciate you sharing your frustrations about eligibility. Please know that we are always working to make our products and services better.
I know it can be frustrating not being eligible for a new loan, but we are unable to override the automatic review process with a manual review. We review your account everyday for new eligibility and if at any point you become eligible we will definitely let you know!
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you for your response and for taking the time to address my concerns.
I would like to provide an additional clarification. As of today, our dashboard reflects a 98% loan repayment rate, and the loan minimum is scheduled through March 2026, my loan balance is $426.56 out of $26,738.00 yet we have not received a new loan offer. At the same time, some businesses appear to be receiving offers despite having significantly lower repayment percentages. Given that the dashboard explains eligibility is largely based on card processing history and the ability to comfortably repay a loan, this situation is understandably confusing from a customer perspective. A 98% repayment rate, along with consistent repayments extending through March 2026, suggests strong performance and reliability. I fully understand that the review process is automated and that manual reviews are not available. That said, I wonder whether there may be instances where the automated system does not fully reflect overall account performance. If so, it may be worthwhile for the team to consider whether the current criteria or algorithm could benefit from further evaluation. Any additional insight into the factors currently affecting our eligibility would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your time and consideration.
I have spoken to square about this before as I am a seasonal business and there are times I don't take payments. What I was told is eventually the system learns your habits, business etc and takes it all into account. I can tell you eventually it did learn my business an habits but it took awhile. Now like clock work I get loan offers early spring, and early fall. When I am taking most of my payments. I can trigger a new loan at times in between that by offering sales etc and going above my normal. The trick is to go above your normal to trigger a new offer. This is just my experience.
