OK, so you can probably guess that my verification didn't go through. Now, I read another thread that this is run by a third party and if they can't verify you, you're basically SOL.
I get that.
Except I think I know why I wasn't verified, and so my question is whether there is any chance I can please have another try at verification?
My issue is that I have been twice divorced and also have had a legal name change in addition to that (so that I could have the same name as my daughter), so the SSA takes one out of 4 different last names, depending on...lord knows what. I just am not able to try putting in a different name now because the fields are frozen but this is 100% me.
Also, for the record, yes I have tried to get this fixed with the SSA because it has created numerous problems (at work, probate, etc.) but since Covid, all the local offices remain shut down. I still try every couple of weeks though.
So...
Can I please try the verification again with another last name?
