How to record Cash Payments from clients in salon?

I am wondering if there is a way to record cash payments from clients? My co-worker in the barbershop uses Gloss Genius and is able to record cash payments vs. card payments to account for revenue. Is this an option within square? If so I’ve somehow missed it. Thank you in advance

Hey @kacey_k, I hope your day is going well! I’d be happy to assist. You can absolutely track cash sales through Square.

To do so:

1. After setting up your customer’s cart, tap Charge.
2. Tap either Cash, Check, Other Gift Card or Certificate, or Other Payment Types to enter an amount, then tap the button to record the payment. If you’re using an iPad connected to a cash drawer to record cash, your cash drawer will automatically open when you tap Tender.
3. Allow your customer to enter their phone number or email address to select a receipt option. If your iPad is connected to a receipt or kitchen printer, you can also print a receipt and kitchen ticket.
4. You’ll see a final screen with a check mark after the payment completes.
