Hi @Shanejay.  I’m sorry to hear this.

The only way to find out the reason for this is to contact Square Support.  No on here will be able to answer that part of your questions.  I can say that if this was a recent deactivation, you should be receiving email communication soon.  You might want to check your email junk/spam folder in case it was caught up in that.  They will be able to tell you if you have any funds available.  However, there will most likely be no interest for the length of whatever hold might be on those funds.  Interest like that is regulated by federal banking regulations, and those do not require interest payments in the case of held or disputed funds.

I wish you well.

Square is making money with my money in which I can not get  I don't understand why I can't get interest paid. They are the one who deactivated my account not me. When they deactivated my account I was able to refund around 4500.00 but I can't get the remaining 610.00 that don't make sense to me at all. I can refund money but I can't get the money out, that's craY. Am I going to have to get my lawyer on this matter I see that square this a couple law suits on them now

Like I said. Call them. Held money is held for a good reason usually. Someone might be disputing the charges. A bank might be disputing them. Or something else.  But you won’t find out why here on a public forum. You are always welcome to get a lawyer of course.

I am having the same issue and can't get in touch with anyone. I've emailed, tried contacting customer support and call number.  Have you had any success?

I spoke with them about an hour ago and they said that my funds will post in one or two business days although the release date was Aug 22nd. He gave me a case number and his name. I appreciate you guys feedback and will inform you of any progress.
